With the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games just weeks away, a video called Indian Pole Gymnastics has surfaced on YouTube.
The five-minute film shows three gymnasts performing gravity-defying moves up and down a pole. The acts are reminiscent of pole dancing but far more athletic.
Although it has not been classified as a Commonwealth Games sport, it can only be a matter of time before gymnastics goes vertical.
