Training has been going well as I am starting to enter the 'taper' phase which means a decrease in quantity and an increase in quality.
We are starting to rest more, having a few sessions off during the week, but when we train it's more intense with a greater focus on swimming at race pace.
I am looking forward to going away, especially travelling into the European summer.
We received the Australian Team uniform on Friday and that's always exciting.
Here is my schedule for Rome:
Sunday 26th July: 400m Free Heats. Finals that night if I qualifyTuesday 28th July: 800m Free Heats. Finals Wednesday night if I qualifyFriday 31st July: 4x200m Free Heats.
