An 11-year-old boy has been charged after an elderly woman was pushed to the ground and robbed by a group of youths in Warrawong last week.

Police said the 77-year-old had parked in a carpark on Northcliffe Dr about 7.10pm on Thursday and was walking away from her car when a group of about five youths approached her from behind.
One grabbed her handbag and another pushed her to the ground before the group ran away.
Following information from the public, police arrested an 11-year-old Warrawong boy on Saturday.
He was later charged with robbery in company and refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Children’s Court today.
