A small group of Illawarra Britney Spears fans braved last night's icy conditions in a bid to snare tickets to the pop star's upcoming Australian shows.
Tickets went on sale at 9am today, and counting down the clock outside the WIN Entertainment Centre's Ticketek office were about 50 die-hard fans hoping to secure their place in the concert's front row.

"They said it was very cold last night," Ticketek customer service officer Brenda Byrnes said after the rush had passed.
"There were probably about 50 people by the time we opened.
"We have got some tickets left, although a couple of the shows were sold out."
The Circus Starring Britney Spears will hit Australian shores in November, including concerts at Sydney's Acer Arena.
The show has won praise for its sheer size and spectacle.
It boasts nearly 50 dancers, magicians, clowns and acrobats, and will travel Australia with 60 tonnes of equipment in 34 trucks.
