Crowded house on a high for Tumbleweed

02 Nov, 2009 10:52 AM
A sell-out crowd greeted Wollongong rockers Tumbleweed as they made a long-awaited return to the stage at Waves on Saturday night.

The original line-up of Paul Hausmeister, Jay Curley, Steve O'Brien, Richie Lewis and Lenny Curley were together for the first time since the mid 1990s - the band broke up shortly after their last album, 2000's Mumbo Jumbo.

The Towradgi gig should have warmed the boys up nicely for their next show - Homebake in Sydney on December 5.
