Back to full health after a bout of flu, the 16-year-old Keiraville beauty is looking forward to her whirlwind 10-day trip, which will include Palm Springs and Los Angeles photo shoots for Napoleon Cosmetics and Madison magazine as well as appointments with New York's top modelling agencies.

"I am very excited - it is going to be heaps of fun," Demelza said last night.

"I have been to LA before ... it's Palm Springs that I am curious about.

"I have never been there and I am just hoping that I am going to have some time to lie by a pool and relax and not worry about things.

"I am also looking forward to doing the photo shoot and just doing a good job and actually doing some work and getting some more experience because that's what I need."

The trip and the Napoleon Cosmetics photo shoot are part of the booty Demelza took home after winning the Next Top Model reality television series last month.

She will also represent Napoleon Cosmetics at the launch of the premium make-up brand's foray onto the shelves of US budget chain Target.
