A carpet store in Fairy Meadow has been gutted by fire, forcing police to close the Princes Hwy.
Nobody was injured in the blaze at Carpet Choice, according to firefighters, who had the blaze contained by about 7pm.
Seven trucks attended the scene, along with police who were describing the area as a crime scene to passers-by.
Witnesses said the blaze took hold within minutes, with flames leaping out of the upper windows of the two-storey building.
