Family of missing Batemans Bay man appeals for help

01 May, 2009 04:00 AM
The lack of clues to the disappearance of a Batemans Bay man has puzzled police and the man's family, who have renewed an appeal for public help.

Scott Bryan, 34, was last seen after he was dropped off at his home in Short St, Batemans Bay, by a community health worker about 1.30pm on Friday, November 21, 2008.

His mother, Kim Bryan, said the family had lived in the area since Scott was two.

"Someone must know something," she said. "I can't believe, after living in this town for so long, that no-one knows anything."

Far South Coast police have renewed their appeal for public assistance to locate Mr Bryan, who suffers from a medical condition that requires medication regularly.

Batemans Bay acting crime manager Inspector Gary Megay said police and family had grave concerns about Mr Bryan as he required daily medication and inquiries had indicated he had not accessed his bank account since he went missing.

Mr Bryan is described as being of white/European appearance, about 195cm tall, of solid build with balding hair.
