Children are being evacuated from a Jamberoo child care centre as the building begins to flood.
Up to 25 children at the Jamberoo Community Preschool are being moved out of the centre’s building.
Emergency crews are reportedly having difficulty accessing the centre.
A car has reportedly ended up in a swollen creek in Jamberoo leaving at least one person trapped.
Shoalhaven police have been called in to assist Illawarra police and emergency crews deal with the drama following today’s rain.

"The flooding was atrocious on Jamberoo Rd towards Albion Park.
"I think I was lucky I made it through the flood waters before the road was blocked.
"I have never seen so much water across Jamberoo Rd especially in places where you would not expect to see it come across the road (like) at the bottom of the hill just south of the Jamberoo Action Park entrance.
"I had to follow a truck's wake to get through.
It took over an hour and a half to get from Jamberoo to Primbee."
