We are good friends of Jason,s family and this morning just broke my heart to call his mum. what can you say to ease such pain! Just that you and ALLof Jasons family are very much in our thoughts at this time. We knew Jason as a bright bubbly mischevious kid just a typical boy. So very very sorry.

My thoughts are with Jason's family. I only trained with Jason a few times but it was evident what a good person he was.

As a neighbour of Jason & Kylie,I am sad to hear of Jason passing. We will miss that friendly wave from Jason even when he was running up the biggest hills in Kiama on his way home from work. Very sad, thoughts to Kylie and Harry.

My dearest friend Kylie , no words can take away your pain. This is a tragedy that should never have happened. Jason was doing what he loved. Through Harry Jason will always live on. xxxxxxxxx

I wish to express my deep sympathy to Jason's family on hearing of this very tragic death of a young life. Being a cyclist myself, I realise how vulnerable cylists are on our open roads. I hope that through this we may manage to change the culture and attitude of motorists towards cyclists.

My thoughts are with u Kylie...xx Having worked so closely with Jason years ago I knew what a great guy he was & a very loving husband - I was shocked to hear this today & my heart goes out to you all... I was only thinking the other day that we had lost touch when he left our old workplace & I should try & contact you both again.. Reminds you that you should never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.. My thoughts & prayers are with u today & always...xx

What to say? What can you say? The pain I feel after Saturday will stay with me forever, as I know it will you Kylie. A kinder and more dedicated husband/father/athlete one couldn't find. I spoke with him on Wednesday night about giving it all away, but the desire to was too great. Be strong Kylie, the community and so many individuals are there for you, any time, you only need to ask.
