Man dies after grand final celebration

Grand final celebrations turned sour overnight when a man died after being arrested at St George Leagues Club.About 12.20am today police intervened in a fight involving three men at the Kogarah club.While trying to arrest the men, police used a Taser on one man who was subsequently subdued and arrested.He is assisting police with their inquiries at St George police station.A 35-year-old man was sprayed with capsicum spray during the arrest and lost consciousness.He was taken to hospital but died later. The cause of his death is not known.A third man was arrested and is helping police with their inquiries.Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact them via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
