Man refused bail over Koonawarra shooting: court

16 Feb, 2012 05:17 PM
A man accused of shooting a Koonawarra woman in the face has been formally refused bail today.

Adam Scott Murray, of Berkeley, is charged with shooting Renae Sullivan in the forehead about 6.20pm last night.

Police will allege Murray shot Sullivan through a sealed window next to the front door of her home.

Murray did not apply for bail in Wollongong Local Court this morning and it was formally refused.

Ms Sullivan was flown to St George Hospital after the shooting, where she remains in a critical but stable condition tonight.

Murray has been remanded in custody and will return to court on April 4 via video link.
