Michaela becomes real role model

25 Jan, 2012 03:00 AM
After being crowned World Miss Teen Supermodel in Fiji in October, Balgownie’s Michaela Swamy will perform the role of Australia Day ambassador tomorrow for the NSW town of Corowa, west of Albury.

As part of her duties, Michaela, 16, will appear at official Australia Day ceremonies including a sausage sizzle in Corowa, a morning tea in Mulwala, and a lunch in Howlong.

After her World Miss Teen Supermodel win last year, Michaela said she wanted to be a good role model, particularly for young women, and pursue a career in modelling.
