Nat Bassingthwaighte back in Wollongong

26 Dec, 2009 04:00 AM
With a stellar career tipped for 2010, Mt Warrigal girl turned national celebrity Natalie Bassingthwaighte has been taking stock during a sojourn in the Illawarra.

The popular singer and actress was spotted in Kiama enjoying a coffee break.

Family members have confirmed she is spending Christmas at home this year, marking the festive season with family including her parents and three sisters.

Bassingthwaighte was this week tipped as a rising star to watch in 2010, named alongside a new crop of actors appearing in the third TV series of Underbelly.

Her role as Jayne Haken, wife of crooked cop Trevor Haken, represents her largest TV acting role since she left Neighbours in 2006.

She will also host a third series of So You Think You Can Dance Australia, on Network Ten.

Other stars to watch include seasoned actress Rebecca Gibney, funny man Shaun Micallef and Russell Crowe, who will host and produce a reality series about elite sports stars called Damage Control.

Judging by that photo, I'd say its more a case of "Los Angeles Lips" than botox, or perhaps a combination of both. Amazing that people can believe looks can make up for a lack of talent?

WHO? you really have to be joking! A lack of talent, does not make you a superstar. Couldn't you have done a report/story on the lack of flys around the food on christmas day?

Dont worry curly, Shaun Micallef is a thinking mans funny man, you can stick to "hey dad" for your jollies. If thats what Nat wants she can have it and good luck to her, sadly I have never heard of her.
