What is it about the Picton Rd that is so dangerous? I know it is narrow in parts, and there are a lot of trucks, but Mt Ousley is far busier, though wider. The sorrying thing is that some of the casualties are people who drive for their livelihood - not just the mums and dads that turn out on Sundays.

Picton road is not a dangerous road by any means. Those motorists who take risky chances, use excessive speed, tailgate and overtake without sufficent time and space are responsible for presenting the danger, not the road itself. Todays unfortunate occurances are true examples of something everyone ought to know- 'drive to conditions'. Which ultimately means slow down in the wet
