Thoughts and prayers with you all. I only just found out about this while researching the local papers for a German assignment, and I'm so sorry to hear about what happened.

Hoping you'll be given the strength to make it through this tough time.

Sorry to hear of your injury, but also sorry to see you weren't using the bike path opposite the scene of the accident - why do we spend so much money on paths when people don't use them? As an OHS manager, I cringe whenever I see a bicycle travelling on the road(especially two abreast). In my view it should be law that bicycle paths must be used where they exist in order to isolate bicycles from motor vehicles wherever possible.
