Sensational Sunday, the Illawarra Turf Club's (ITC) flagship meeting, saw many turn out in their best for the running of the $150,000 Keith F Nolan classic.
Away from the track, the competition was just as fierce as racegoers competed for the title of best dressed on course in Myer's Fashions on the Field.

Lady of the Day Pamela O'Brien was on a winning streak, scooping the top prize in the women's fashion contest for the second year running.
"I can't believe it - I really wasn't expecting to win again," she said.

"There's nothing like a day in the sunshine with lots of friends. I come to Kembla about once a month and I love being part of all the action."
The Tarrawanna fashion designer, who owns Locopa Designs, sells at Bondi, Kiama and Wollongong markets and will also be at Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival next weekend.
Her style tips were to keep outfits simple and elegant.
"I went for something figure-hugging this year because I've got a huge fascinator so I wanted to make that the focal piece," she said.
Peter Hanley came top in the style stakes and was named Man of the Day.
"I was pretty surprised, there were a fair few people there but it went better than I thought," he said.
Mr Hanley said he decided to complete his outfit with a trilby because a hat seemed only fitting for a day at the races.
ITC manager Michael Craig said perfect weather helped secure an impressive turnout for what was ITC's biggest day of the year.
