A young woman killed in a car crash on Appin Rd has been named as Illawarra Stingrays striker Ashleigh Connor.Emergency services crews were called to Appin Rd just after 8am today where they found a car in a gully on the roadside.An Ambulance Service of NSW spokeswoman confirmed a young female driver had been killed when her vehicle hit a tree.Police say the crash may have occurred between 9.30pm yesterday and 8am today.Ashleigh, a 21-year-old from Rosemeadow suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.
