Three rescued from Seven Mile Beach

30 Dec, 2009 09:05 AM
Three people were rescued from a rip south of Seven Mile Beach yesterday morning.

An unknown man dragged the struggling swimmers to shore about 11.30am.

They were about 200m south of the patrolled zone, near Berry Beach.

A Kiama lifeguard attended the scene and helped stabilise the four people and gave them oxygen before ambulances arrived.

Wollongong district ambulance manager Norm Rees said no-one was taken to hospital.
