Train delays after derailment

09 Feb, 2012 04:00 PM
There are flow-on delays for South Coast rail commuters after a minor derailment at Hurstville this afternoon.

CityRail has warned some trains are up to 20 minutes late.

Some services are still operating on the Illawarra line, but delays are expected to flow-on to South Coast line services.

It is understood the first carriage of a southbound service left the tracks.

No one was hurt and CityRail staff and emergency services are on scene.

Commuters are advised to listen to announcements and check indicator boards at stations.
