Police are investigating several unconfirmed sitings of Woonona man Leslie Hicks who has been missing since Sunday.
Wollongong Police Chief Inspector Graeme Donnelly said there had been sightings in the last 24 hours of a person resembling Mr Hicks at Warilla and Nowra.
The search for the 81-year-old has been extended statewide with his profile being added to the NSW Police Missing Persons register this afternoon.
Mr Hicks went missing from the Woonona Retirement Village on Sunday at 9.30am.
He is 168cm with grey hair, wears glasses and was last seen wearing dark blue track pants, a blue and white polo shirt, dark blue jumper and black shoes.
He has low-level dementia, wears a colostomy bag and was last seen in Tarrawanna on Sunday.
