Cam Tragardh has a reassuring message for any Hawks followers fearing a repeat of Wednesday night's debacle in Townsville.
Thrashed 82-53 by the Crocodiles in the second game of the best-of-three semi-final series, Wollongong host the north Queenslanders in tonight's deciding game at WIN Entertainment Centre.
While almost nothing went right for the Hawks in Crocs country, they are confident of rediscovering their best form tonight.
"What happened in Townsville was sort of a 'man check' for us really. They stepped up and we folded a bit, but please don't expect that to happen on our home court," Tragardh said.
Wollongong are favoured to win their way through to the grand final and Tragardh rejected the suggestion his team might be burdened by the weight of expectation.
