Flood swamps rivals in surf lifesaving event

Manly's Naomi Flood took the honours in the second round of the Sydney Water Premiership at Stanwell Park Beach on Saturday.

Flood carried over her superb form from round one at Warilla a fortnight ago with wins in the open ironwoman, open female swim, open female ski and open female board events.

Warilla Barrack Point's Maddison Prior finished second to Flood in the open ironwoman and third in the open female swim.

Bulli's Elyse Yardley was third in the open ironwoman and open female ski events.

Warilla Barrack Point's Jordan White finished second in the open female swim and open female board,

And her club-mate Lauren Smith was second in the open female ski and third in the open female board.

In beach events, the open female flags went to Bulli's Adriana Wassens, with Cronulla's Emma Groves second and Laura Shorter of Queenscliff third.

Laura Shorter won the open female sprint ahead of Bulli's Bernadette Cardillo and Cronulla's Emma Groves.

Cronulla competitor Chris Allum took out the open ironman event, finishing ahead of Warilla Barrack Point's Ali Day, with Cronulla's Hayden Allum in third place.

Day also won the open male swim in front of Chris Allum, while Elouera's Tom O'Keefe was third.

The open male ski event went to Hayden Allum, with Paul Buttel of Wanda and Chris Allum filling the minor placings.

Elouera competitor Dane Barrel claimed first place in the open male board race. Hayden Allum finished second ahead of Campbell Bennett, of North Bondi.

On the beach, Tyler Harding of Wanda was first in the open male flags, with the minor placings going to two Helensburgh Stanwell Park competitors on their home beach: Daniel Robbards in second place and Steine Lofts in third.

Helensburgh Stanwell Park's Ben Dowling won the open male sprint, second place went to Queenscliff's Jarrod Browne and third to Daniel Robbards.

Round three of the series will be staged at Bellambi Beach on November 28 and the final round at Towradgi Beach on December 19.
