Not only does Figtree physiotherapist Alex Price work with a number of elite athletes, he also has been running his own personal training business for the past four years.
And he is the perfect example for his own business.
After a four-year break Price (pictured at North Wollongong Beach) has been back racing triathlons since last year.
This follows a stint working overseas and moving from South Australia to Wollongong.
He completed his second ironman triathlon at Port Macquarie in April and has been working hard for an event in the United States next month.
Price will be competing in a half-ironman distance (1.9km swim/90km cycle/21km run) triathlon in North Carolina on Saturday week.
"I am hoping to get in the top 10 overall, which is achievable if everything goes okay," Price said.
"Last year they had a very solid international field racing."
Price finished third overall in a race at Maitland last weekend and was happy with the outcome.
He is hoping to break the 4hr20min mark in North Carolina, which should put him in the top 10.
"But you never know with long distance racing what may happen," he said.
Price thanked the K-Swiss clothing and footwear brand for its ongoing support.
