St George Illawarra are set to face their finals conquerors in an early season blockbuster at WIN Stadium next season.
As they come to terms with their finals exit, the Dragons are in the preliminary stages of planning for the 2010 season following the release of the NRL draw on Tuesday.
A major task facing the joint venture club's board is separating the 12 home games between their Kogarah and WIN Stadium bases.
Full coverage of The St George Illawarra DragonsAmong the Dragons games likely to be played in Wollongong next year is a round five showdown with Brisbane.
The Broncos knocked St George Illawarra out of the finals race last week with a 24-10 win at Suncorp Stadium and also overpowered the Dragons at WIN Stadium in round 24.
The round five clash will come after they clash with the Eels - who beat the minor premiers in the qualifying final - at Parramatta Stadium in the season opener.
Wollongong Dragons fans are likely to be treated to home games against all three Queensland-based clubs this year.
The draw released features Dragons home games with the Cowboys in round three, Broncos in round five and Gold Coast Titans in round 20.
WIN Stadium is also likely to host Canberra in May and possibly last year's premiers Manly in round 23.
Kogarah's WIN Jubilee Oval is expected to be allocated a showdown between St George Illawarra and the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs, who will play in tomorrow night's preliminary final against Parramatta, were controversially denied a try to centre Jamal Idris by the video referee over an incident involving Dragons five-eighth Jamie Soward and Dogs enforcer Greg Eastwood.
Other Sydney games will include the Anzac Day battle with the Roosters, as well as a round eight derby with the Sharks.
The Dragons play Parramatta again in round 12 and consecutive home games against the Wests Tigers and Penrith.
