Tarrawanna coach Gary Fernie admitted his side's doomsday double this weekend could make or break their Illawarra Mercury Premier League campaign.
The Blueys host Bulli today and Albion Park tomorrow.
Tarrawanna's testing double-header - the result of a round 11 washout against the defending champions - is all the more pivotal given they are equal with the Bulls, White Eagles and South Coast United on 16 points.
Two wins would entrench the Corrimal Leagues Club Knockout winners in the top five, but a pair of losses could doom them to a mid-table scrap for the rest of 2009.
With further tough clashes against Fernhill and Dapto, plus a Bampton Cup semi-final on the horizon, Fernie conceded this weekend was an acid test for his side.
"If we don't get a couple of results we're going to be in big trouble," Fernie said.
"We can't afford to miss out this weekend. It's a pretty tight competition from second place to 10th, so every result it vital."
Fernie has a full complement to call upon for the first time this season.
"There's no excuses in terms of injuries," he said.
"We have to deal with it after Saturday, it's always difficult for the older guys to back up.
"There are guys who are carrying niggles so I won't know who I have for Sunday until after Saturday."
Fernie was confident his side could bounce back from last weekend's 4-0 hiding against Dandaloo.
"We're more than capable of doing it, we were average against Dandaloo, we didn't do ourselves justice," he said.
Also today, Wollongong United host Woonona at Macedonia Park in a battle of the cellar dwellers, while competition leaders Dandaloo take on resurgent Port Kembla at Dandaloo Sports Ground.
Tomorrow, Fernhill travel to McLennan Park to tackle South Coast United, before Dapto meet Woonona at Dapto Showground on Monday night.
Last night, Albion Park visited Cringila and Dapto took on Picton.
