Wendell trains with the Dragons

12 May, 2008 01:54 PM
Wendell Sailor trained for the first time with St George Illawarra at WIN Stadium yesterday, at the end of a two-year ban for cocaine use.

Sailor has signed a contract with the Dragons until the end of 2009 and will play his first game of rugby league since 2001 for Shellharbour on Saturday.

The 33-year-old was put through his paces during a training session.

``I'm looking forward to playing with the Dragons and also Shellharbour for the first couple of weeks,'' he said yesterday.

``I'm a young 33-year-old. I feel like I'm 18, 19, couldn't wait to put the gear on.''

Good Luck on Saturday Wendell.

We'll be in Shellharbour on Saturday - where's this game being held?
