A punishing dance schedule isn't the only reason comedian Fiona O'Loughlin struggled to stay on her feet during her Brisbane show last night.
The Northern Territory funnywoman, who is a contestant in the upcoming series of Dancing With The Stars, collapsed on stage while performing her greatest hits stand-up gig In Stitches at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
"A combination of exhaustion and one too many drinks during the afternoon caused the incident," a Seven spokesman said in a statement released this afternoon.
"During the last month, Fiona O'Loughlin has juggled a heavy dance rehearsal schedule with a national tour of her comedy show."
The tumble prompted speculation Sunday night's Dancing With The Stars premiere had been thrown into jeopardy, but not so, said the Seven publicist.
"Fiona is expected to depart Brisbane today and head to Melbourne to prepare for the premiere of the new series of Dancing With The Stars on Sunday night," he said.
