Rove McManus has married his girlfriend of almost two years, actress Tasma Walton, in a private beach ceremony in Western Australia.
The Perth-born television star and Walton were married on Tuesday in Broome, in a ceremony in which the bride "wore a white vintage 1970s sundress and the groom wore no shoes".

"The day was everything we hoped for: simple, simple quiet and intimate, in a beautiful Broome landscape with a small group of family and close friends celebrating beside us," Walton said today.
McManus added that he and his new wife were "very happy and and look forward to that continuing for a long time to come. It was wonderful to get to share that happiness with both our families and friends around us."
The pair confirmed the marriage in a statement issued by their publicist.
In a contemporary twist on tradition, Walton proposed to McManus, having first asked his mother for her blessing.
The pair have no honeymoon plans and both will return to the east coast for work commitments. It is McManus's second marriage.
His first wife, the actress Belinda Emmett, lost her battle with breast cancer in late 2006. He and Walton have been dating since October, 2007.
