Swine flu crisis: Pacific Dawn cruise ship diverted

The Pacific Dawn is being diverted to an island east of Cairns after three crew members displayed flu like symptoms.In a dramatic escalation of the swine flu crisis, Queensland authorities have stepped in to deal with the matter.The Pacific Dawn, which left Sydney on Monday night, is now bypassing all its scheduled stops on the Great Barrier Reef and has been diverted to Willis Island east of Cairns.Queensland's Chief Health Officer, Jeannette Young, said they have been isolated and medical samples which have been taken will be sent to Brisbane laboratories for testing.Dr Young said they were not displaying symptoms before the ship left Sydney.
