An Australian couple who had bought tickets to Michael Jackson's concerts in London travelled to Los Angeles instead to pay tribute to the music icon who died on June 25.Leonardo Scarola and his wife Natalie, from Melbourne, had spent about $6000 on tickets to Jackson's first and second gigs in London. However when they heard the 50-year-old superstar had died, they bought plane tickets the next day to Los Angeles. They did not have tickets to the public memorial service at the Staples Centre - but all that changed due to a fortunate encounter with fellow die-hard fans outside the Jackson family home in Encino."It turned out, that man's wife could not make it to the memorial, so he asked my wife if she wanted to go with him," Mr Scarola, a security guard, told the Los Angeles Times."We were all crying, saying, 'God has answered our prayers'."We call them angels."I know what (Natalie) is going through in there. She'll be crying, but she is so blessed."Scarola told the LA Times he and his wife had planned to visit Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara on Wednesday, then pay tribute at Jackson's star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. They will now travel to London to resolve the matter of their concert tickets. He said the travel arrangements were difficult on his security guard's wage."We may have to sell our home when we get back to Melbourne, but well deal with that later," he said.
