A Taiwanese man bought a pornography DVD only to find secretly taped footage of his wife having sex with his friend in a motel, it has been reported.The sexual acts were on a DVD entitled Affairs with Others' Wives, which the husband bought from a vendor to watch at home.The husband, a carpenter who was identified only by his surname Lee, was so enraged with his friend that he allegedly stabbed him in the thigh.The friend, who is a butcher, then sued him for causing bodily harm.Lee discovered the footage, which had apparently had been recorded using a hidden camera in a motel, in 2002.Lee divorced his wife after watching the DVD and his friend fled their village. However last year Lee spotted the butcher in Chungli City and allegedly stabbed him in the thigh. The butcher sued Lee for causing bodily harm. Lee sought to counter-sue the butcher for adultery, but was unable to because of a five-year statute of limitations. Prosecutors urged the men to settle the case out of court, but they refused. Lee was indicted on Tuesday on a charge of causing bodily harm to another person, the Liberty Times reported.Prosecutors were seeking a sentence of less than six months in prison, which can be converted into a fine.
