Will Zeta-Jones play Susan Boyle?

First she made Demi Moore cry, now singing sensation Susan Boyle is the envy of Catherine Zeta-Jones.

British tabloid the Daily Mail is reporting that the screen siren has asked about the film rights to Boyle's life story and her appearance on Britain's Got Talent.

Footage of the unassuming Scot silencing the sniggering crowd has been viewed more than 100 million times and she is tipped to take the crown as the most popular online video clip of all time.

The 47-year-old charity worker has been propelled to world fame after walking on stage at the television show auditions looking, as she put it, "like a garage" and performing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

    Susan Boyle strikes me as being very down to earth and astute. I don't think she will change her appearance much, and she certainly won't change her voice! We just love her warm (and cheeky) personality.

    Catherine Zeta-Jones is too hot to play Susan Boyle. How bout Paula Poundstone? She could use the work. Seriously Catherine Zeta-Jones as Susan Boyle? What's next Salma Hayek as Frida Kahlo? Get real! No but really Susan Boyle is a very handsome woman.

    I vote for Kathy Bates to play Susan. She is of the same build, the same round face, the same sweet smile. But mainly, Kathy seems very real and genuine to me, very down to earth. She is extremely sensitive in her roles, with a great sense of humor, and I can see her doing a magnificent job as Susan. It would be a huge mistake, in my opinion, to cast someone who is a glamor puss. No one would believe that kind of person as Susan Boyle.
