Last chance for a moonlight movie

Tomorrow is your last chance this year to settle under the stars for a free movie.

More than 250 people took their rugs and picnic dinners to Thirroul earlier this month for a movie night

This weekend southern Illawarra residents get their chance under the Moonlight Movies program.

Wollongong City Council, Wollongong TAFE and the IMB will present Zookeeper at Reed Park, Bong Bong Road, Dapto. The film starts at 7pm.

The Gorgievski brothers, Adam, 4, and Dylan, 5, have got their picnic packed ready for the film, which stars Kevin James.

It's the tale of a group of zoo animals that band together to try to find a love interest for their keeper.

Wollongong TAFE tourism hospitality and event management teacher Bjorn Ulfsson said the movies were an excellent project for Diploma of Event Management students, as they could put into practice their event management skills.

Moonlight Movies are part of the city council's Summertime Magic program.
