World cricket greats in Wollongong

More than 1500 hundred people turned out at the University of Wollongong yesterday to witness some of cricket's greatest names in action.

West Indies greats Sir Vivian Richards and Brian Lara headlined a star-studded cast doing their bit for the University of Wollongong's Stumping Serious Diseases match.

For the second time in four years, the game finished in a draw, with both sides level on 155 runs after twenty overs.

Players then attended a charity fund-raising event at the Novotel Wollongong, with proceeds going towards the funding of important university health studies.
