With glorious weather and a picture-perfect view, it’s hardly surprising yesterday’s 15th annual Show and Shine at Black Beach in Kiama was a success.

Hosted by the EJ and EH Holden Owners of Southern NSW, the day attracted more than 110 cars, from early popular makes to the latest models.

Show committee member Jason Funnell said: ‘‘We’ve had people who attend car shows all over Australia say that this is the best location of any show in the country.’’

‘‘The combination of the shine of the cars and the shine from the water is absolutely fantastic, it’s been an absolutely brilliant day.’’

He said organising the event had been a labour of love for the club’s new president, Warren Brown, who had worked tirelessly to create a seamless event.

All proceeds from the day will go to KidzWish.
