Windang skip Judy King and Thirroul counterpart Mary Rogers couldn't be split on shots or ends won, so the Illawarra District Summer Fours were decided by an out-of-the-hat draw at Figtree RSL Bowling Club.

King and Rogers skipped their team to two wins with an overall margin of 15 shots and both teams winning 14 ends in the last big event of the season.
Illawarra District president Thelma Lever then had the task of drawing a winner out of a hat, with the luck running for King and partners Lorraine Monk (lead), Jan Howe (second) and Pat Steed (third) who split the $400 top prize.
Rogers and partners Callie Addison (lead), Margo Stanford (second) and Claudette Herbert (third) won the second prize of $200.
Kiama's Audrey Evans (skip), Eleanor Parkin (lead), Greta O'Donnell (second), and Bronwyn Campbell (third) were third.
