No-one denies there's a need for the public facility, but LJ Hooker principal Julie Humphries would prefer it didn't become the view from the meeting room and entertaining area.
The proposed toilet would be "directly outside our glass sliding doors," Ms Humphries said.
"Surely you can understand that I do not want my clients' view of the park being obscured by a toilet block and Colorbond fencing," she said in a letter to council in August.
"The plans show that if the block was moved 3.25 metres to the north, no-one's outlook would be impeded. Surely that is not too much to ask."
Wollongong City Council has refused to budge on the issue, indicated the proposal had already passed through the community consultation phase, with work set to start.
But this week, Ms Humphries again pleaded her case.
"I understand this has been through community consultation, and I know that a number of residents who I spoke with did not want the toilet to be placed in this location at all," she said in a letter to the council.
"Whilst I have no idea if other residents agreed to the block in the current location, I feel absolutely convinced that by moving the block three metres to the north it would make no difference to them.
"Our building is the only building which will be affected by the toilet being placed in its current location. That is a fact.
"We hold many functions in our office and open our glass sliding doors to entertain at the side of our building. I would much rather see the park than a fence and toilet block."
Councillor Greg Petty said yesterday he had raised Mrs Humphries' concerns with council staff.
"No-one is doubting the need for a public toilet - a double toilet would have been even better - but I am confident common sense will prevail," Cr Petty said.
