Fire destroyed the historic building that was home to the Fredericks IGA Jamberoo on Monday morning. Police are still investigating the cause.
Mr Fredericks said yesterday he was in discussions with real estate agents about finding a temporary site to set up a shop.
"We are getting on the front foot," he said. "I have already started talking to real estate agents.
"We owe it to the Jamberoo community to get something up and running as soon as we can, but what that will be and where it will be, we are not sure just yet.
"We have had a lot of offers of support."
Kiama Mayor Brian Petschler said the council was willing to help Mr Fredericks rebuild it.
"We've indicated to him we want to see them back on deck for the residents as soon as possible and we are willing to help in any way we can to get him back on his feet," Cr Petschler said. "It is a terrible loss for the community."
