The council-organised offerings include Malaysian, Balinese, Italian, Ethiopian and Greek cuisine, as well as an Australian-style barbecue and ‘‘Twister Spuds’’ – long potato spirals on a stick.
Musicians from the upcoming Illawarra Folk Festival (January 17-20) will perform and Wollongong Hawks mascot Moe Hawk will visit between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
The twilight markets occur during the warmer months, with February 1 and March 1 the final events in a series of six. The event will move to Lang Park whenever the wind at Flagstaff Hill is too gusty. Updates will be posted on council’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Also starting tonight is the Wollongong Summer Festival at JJ Kelly Park.
