A South Coast man has been airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital this morning with serious spinal injuries after a motorbike accident.
Ambulance officers were called to a property on Coolangatta Road, Far Meadow - south of Berry - at 7.15am today to treat a man in his 60s who had come off his motorbike.
It is understood that the man hit a fence post, causing severe facial lacerations and spinal injuries.
The ambulance rescue helicopter arrived to transport the man, who was in critical condition, to Royal North Shore Hospital.
