Wollongong police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident in East Corrimal today.
The Mercury understands an elderly woman died after being struck by a car on Murray Rd near the Spinks Rd intersection about 7am.
Traffic was diverted away from the scene down Payne Rd and Spinks Rd.
Police set up a crime scene and are now investigating the incident.
