A 19-year-old man has been arrested after he was allegedly found with a large quantity of pills in Crown Street Mall last night.
Wollongong police were alerted to suspicious activity in the mall around 11.30pm.
Police searched the 19-year-old and allegedly discovered a large amount of pills, which police suspect to be the drug ecstasy. Cash was also found during the search, police said.
The man was arrested and charged with supplying prohibited drugs. He was released on bail and will appear in Wollongong Local Court on January 15.
