A 59-year-old was hospitalised following a fire at a property at Bolong, near Bomaderry, yesterday.

The fire, which Shoalhaven police are treating as suspicious, began in a shed on the Hannigans Lane property around 3pm.
Two men, aged 56 and 59, who reside on the property, saw smoke coming from the rear of a large shed. The two men ran to the shed and attempted to put out the blaze before NSW Fire and Rescue crews arrived on the scene.
Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control. The 59-year-old man suffered serious smoke inhalation and was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives from Shoalhaven Local Area Command, who are investigating the blaze, have received information that an obese man aged in his fifties was seen walking from the area just before the fire started.Anyone with information is asked to contact Shoalhaven police on 4421 9699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
