A 21-year-old Dapto man allegedly caught filming up the skirts of women in a Wollongong mall will face court next month.
On October 15 last year, a man was captured on CCTV using his mobile phone to allegedly film up the skirts of three woman in Crown Street Mall.
Four days later the man was again captured on CCTV in the same mall filming a woman while walking behind her, police claim.
Police were alerted and an investigation launched.
On December 12, 2012, officers spoke to a 21-year-old man before seizing his mobile phone, which they allege contained footage of other similar offences.
The man was arrested at Wollongong Police Station yesterday and charged with four counts of filming a person’s private parts without consent and two counts of behaving in an offensive manner.
He was granted bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court on February 12.
