GALLERY: International athletes snare Australia Day aquathon

It might be Australia Day but it was international competitors who took out the aquathon at Belmore Basin this morning.

Frenchman Greg Raoult was the first to cross the line while American Gwen Jorgensen was the first woman to finish the race.

Raoult finished third at last year’s International Triathlon Union (ITU) Cancun World Cup.

Jorgensen competed at the 2012 London Olympics.
