The southbound end of the Northern Distributor has been re-opened, following an accident this afternoon.
The two-car accident occurred just before 2.30pm on the busy road, at the intersection near Rothery St in Bellambi.
The Northern Distributor was shut for about an hour while emergency services attended to the collision.
A 44-year-old woman, suffering chest pains, and a 33-year-old woman were taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment.
