The three former Wollongong High School of Performing Arts students were among just 32 NSW students selected to be part of Callback 2012 - a two-day showcase of the best dance students from last year’s Higher School Certificate.
Students were selected for either performance or choreography.
Catrina performed a dance titled For You, while Hannah performed her own compositions called Footprints and Consumed.
Mikaela choreographed Entrapment, a dance performed by fellow Wollongong High student Chloe Carrett.
The performing arts high school’s outstanding dance program was recognised late last year when every student in the HSC class of 11 was given at least one nomination for the prestigious show.
Additionally, Catrina achieved the highest mark of any HSC dance student and was given the first in state award at a ceremony held in Sydney in December.
Callback is presented by the NSW Department of Education and Communities Arts Unit in conjunction with the Board of Studies.
