More than 250 international students got their first taste of Australian university life yesterday at the University of Wollongong’s overseas enrolment session.
About 1800 international students will enrol at the university this semester, with many coming from China, the United States, India, Vietnam and Iran.
International enrolment days are designed to give students a chance to familiarise themselves with the campus and sign up to any clubs or activities ahead of Orientation Week next week.
Most of UOW’s new domestic students will arrive on campus next week before classes start on March 4.
