Shellharbour’s Michael Feltham has never won anything before, so receiving a phone call to tell him he’d won a thousand bucks this morning made his day.
‘‘I was just stunned and elated,’’ he said.
The general manager of Wollongong Radio Doctor was the fourth daily winner in the Mercury’s iPhone app competition.
He said he was planning to use his prize money to kit out his just-bought car.
‘‘I’ve just ordered a new car so hopefully I’ll be able to splurge on something for it,’’ he said.
There will be one more winner announced tomorrow at 9am on the i98FM Breakfast Show.

More than 5000 people have downloaded the app since it was launched on Saturday.
